⚫︎ 大洲和紙 / OZU Washi
歴史は古く、西暦900年頃にまとめられた延喜式とよばれる法典にも記載があったことから、1000年以上の歴史があると考えられています。薄くてムラが少なく、主に書道用の高級半紙として用いられています。また3～4年経過した大洲和紙は、さらに滑りが良くなり独特の味わいが表現できるといわれています。
Ozu Washi is believed to have a history of more than 1,000 years because it was described in a legal code called Enki Shiki, which was compiled around 900 AD. It is thin and uneven, and is mainly used as a high-grade half-paper for calligraphy. In addition, it is said that Ozu washi paper that has been aged for 3~4 years can be further glided and express a unique appearance.
