⚫︎ 烏山手すき和紙 / Karasuyama Tesuki Washi
主に、楮を原料として手すきにより製造しています。種類としては、程村紙（ほどむらし）、桟留紙（さんとめし）、押絵紙、染紙があります。厚手で紙質が緻密であり、強さと優雅さを兼ね備えているのが特長です。 下野国の和紙の歴史は古く、奈良時代の書物に「写経料紙を産出す」と書かれているのが最も古い記録です。
Karasuyama Tesuki Washi is mainly made by hand using mulberry as a raw material. There are different types of paper: Chengmura paper, Santomeshi, Oshie paper, and dyed paper. It is thick and dense, and is characterized by its combination of strength and elegance. The history of washi paper in Shimono Province is long, and the oldest record is that it is written in a book of the Nara period that it "produces sutra paper".
