800年の伝統を守り続ける黒谷和紙は現在でも手漉きの技術を守り続けています。良質な楮を原材料として、職人により「手漉き」で、一枚一枚が丁寧に作られます。丈夫で強く、長持ちするのが特長です。大正時代には政府から日本一強い紙として認められ、乾パンを入れる袋としても重用されました。
Kurotani Washi continues to preserve its 800-year-old tradition and its handmade techniques to this day. Using high-quality mulberry as a raw material, each piece is carefully hand made by craftsmen. It is durable, strong, and long-lasting. In the Taisho era, it was recognized by the government as the strongest paper in Japan, and was also used as a bag for dry bread.
