INSHU Washi

The origin is ancient, and historical records suggest it was already in use during the early 8th century of the Nara period, giving it a history of about 1,300 years. The phrase ‘Inshu-fude kirezu’ embodies two meanings: ‘No matter how much you write, the brush tip does not wear out’ and ‘It allows for long writing without ink blurring or fading,’ serving as a testament to its high quality.
