Hana goza are richly designed mats (also known as rush grass textiles) with a history that dates back some 1,400 years. Woven from domestic and Fukuoka-grown rush grass, the colorful mats are used for floor coverings, sleeping mats, accessories, and a variety of other items used in everyday life.
