Amended translation: Kuromi Yaki is produced in the Kuromi district of Kurayoshi city, in a kiln established (in 1972) by a craftsman who mastered pottery techniques at the Inshu Nakai kiln. Kuromi ware is made with the motto of "ease of use," "durability," and "beauty (cleanliness). It is a local craft of Tottori prefecture.
