Uchiharano Yaki is form of pottery originating in Aki City, Kochi prefecture. Established in the late 1800s near Uchiharano Koen, this form of pottery is produced using a climbing kiln and glazes made from wood and straw ash. Uchiharano ware can be identified by its warm colour and rustic texture. As of 2020, there are four kilns producing Uchiharano ware: Nomura kiln, Fukudome kiln, Haramine kiln, and Yowa Kobo.
