Ebine Dentou Tesuki Washi

It is said that the beginning of washi paper making in the Ebine area was in the Edo period, in the 4th year of the Meiji era (1658). It is characterized by the fact that the color of the paper becomes whitish as the days go by. Production was temporarily discontinued in Showa 63, but the preservation society was formed in Heisei 10 and revived the making of Ebine Dentou Tesuki Washi.
