岩手県一関市東山町で８００年受け継がれる伝統の手漉き和紙です。主に冬の寒い時期に漉かれる東山和紙は、楮（こうぞ）色をした自然の色と味を持つ繊細優美なやわらかい、そして強靭な紙質です。障子紙をはじめ、書道用紙、賞状用紙、色紙、名刺、はがき、便せん等幅広く利用されています。
Tozan Washi is a traditional handmade Japanese paper that has been passed down for 800 years in Higashiyama Town, Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture. Tozan washi is mainly made during the cold winter months, is a delicate, graceful, soft, and tough paper with a natural color and taste of mulberry color. It is widely used in shoji paper, calligraphy paper, award certificate paper, colored paper, business cards, postcards, stationery, etc.
