A descendent of Odo ware, Nosayama Yaki was established in Kochi City, Kochi prefecture. The pottery practice is influenced by Imari porcelain, and can be characterised by light coloured vessels and blue painted designs featuring flora and fauna. In the late Meiji era, four local families collaborated to relaunch the Nosayama Yaki producing kiln.
