⚫︎ 三河和紙 / Mikawa Washi
室町時代から冬の仕事として「紙すき」が行われてきました。植物の繊維を染色したものを絵の具がわりにして、紙をすきながら絵を描く、小原地区特有の美術工芸です。
Since the Muromachi period, "paper ploughing" has been done in the winter. It is an arts and crafts unique to the Ohara area, where dyeing plant fibers is used instead of paint and painting while ploughing paper.
