４３０年の歴史を持つ。手漉き画仙紙漢字用、にじみが強く墨色が美しいのが特徴。 地元西嶋で収穫される原料の稲わらを独自の製法で和紙の原料に加工しているため、筆に適度な抵抗があり、作者が望む渇筆やニジミを表現することができます。
Nishijima Washi has a history of 430 years. Handmade painting paper for kanji, it is characterized by strong bleeding and beautiful ink color. Rice straw, a raw material harvested in the local Nishijima, is processed into raw material for Japanese paper using a unique production method, so there is a moderate resistance to the brush, and it is possible to express the thirst and nijimi that the artist wants.
